Medical Testing

Today’s medical equipment is more portable and found in more locations than ever before, such as in emergency vehicles, aircraft and field use. Therefore, medical equipment and devices must go through test regiments for product performance reliability including temperature, humidity, vibration, shock and ISTA/ASTM transportation simulations.

Some medical manufacturers may be required to commit products to real-time and accelerated aging test protocols for FDA approval. EA has dozens of test chambers for smaller sample sizes and multiple walk-in temperature controlled chambers at each location to support large capacity storage requirements.

Environment Associates is approved by ISTA to perform transportation simulation tests on packaging to ISTA Series 1, 2, 3 & 4 as well as ISO 17025 Accredited by ANAB to perform testing on packaged products to ASTM D4169.
